""Local Area Connection" Doesn't have a valid ip config "

i Recently bought and hp windows 7 computer 64 bit and it was fine but two weeks later it does this it was working few hour ago and now it saids this ""Local Area Connection" Doesn't have a valid ip config"
what does that mean? i couldnt fix it, i turned off the router, modem did a pc recovery and i also waited. it didnt do anything how do i fix this? am not really good at pc can someone give met he step one by one?

You should first try resetting the router by holding down the reset button for 30 seconds, still holding down the button, unplug the router for 30 seconds, power back up while still holding down the button for 30 more seconds.

After that it's required that you go into the routers settings and make sure the wireless is set up correctly, you need to add SSID "name of network" set up a password to connect, then choose the security and encryption, WPA2 and AES encryption tends to work best with Windows 7 drivers.

After that check your wireless profile for this connection by going to the Network and Sharing center, look left for "Manage wireless connections" and use the same settings that you used for the router.

If you are still having problems please post the ipconfig/all from this machine and I'll have a look at it. :)

I was just assuming you had wireless, you didn't say which one you were using. Resetting the router is tends to fix many problems so I'd try that first.

For the ipconfig just go to option 2 in the link below. Use the snipping tool to save the screen shot then use the advance button to upload the picture here.
