Local disc ????

Hi, i am just configuring my first back up using paragon free edition and it shows a local disc holding about 6bg of something. I do not know what it is on it or how to access it or whether I need to back in up in addition to my HDD. My HDD and my external hard drive are the only ones which appear in "my computer"

Any help would be appreciated

Many Thanks

Andy

Could be a backup partition...such as an OEM partition used to restore your computer to factory settings....

That depends...if you want to reset your computer to factory settings in the future (the same exact way as you bought it...) than go ahead...if not...get rid of it

If you already burned the CD/DVD set to restore the machine to out of the box state, then you can delete the partition or just leave it alone. 6 GB you won't even notice these days.

Burn it to removable disk and delete the partition. If you have a crash and the system tries to default to the original OS, it might well do more harm than good.

Hi Andy,

All good advice so far.

Worth checking you are using the latest build of B & R 10 Free - build 10505.
