Hello the803,

Welcome to Seven Forums.

I am unable to get the dump file from your link. Probably because I don't have an account. If you could do as zigzag says and zip the file and upload here, it would be helpful. Use the paperclip to browse to and upload the file and then use it again to attach to the post.

Also, please do not bump your posts. These forums are all volunteer and it may take a little time for the person who knows something about your problem to come along.

Hope this helps.

Gary

I have the exact same problem but I have no clue either what is causing the problem.

*Edit:* On a side note, I have noticed that it happens more often when downloading.

Based on your dump file, the code is 0x1000008E and the offending file is msrcp.sys. If you google them together, you'll see the common suggestions are to scan for malware, update drivers in the system, and run Memtest to make sure your memory isn't at fault.

Hey guys I am having a 2057 problem too :/ I have had this problem for about, 1 week now and every 20-30 minutes my screen will go black and everything would shut down, however the computer is still on. Thing is this seems to happen only when I am playing a game, so was wondering maybe a graphics card problem? here is the details:

Found on 'Social Technet' forum:
bugcheck 0x116 is "VIDEO_TDR_ERROR", which "indicates that an attempt to reset the display driver and recover from a timeout failed.", the assessment that the video card may be involved would appear to be accurate
