I am running Windows 7 home premium 64 bit I downloaded and installed Oracle virtualbox 3.2.0 and used it to install a virtual Obantu. Everything worked well except that the only location Windows 7 would permit me to save the vdi was in my user folder. I created a separate partition (U:\) where i would like to save the vdi. However when I try to create (save) the vdi there I get a popup that says
U:\Ubuntu.vdi You don't have permission to save in this location. Contact the administrator to obtain permission. Would you like to save in the _user_ folder instead?"
I am running as administrator. How do i get around this permission problem? Thank you.
