Location on desktop icons

So the default location is on the left.. but you can move them yourself as i know.. but i was wondering if there is a way to make it go to the right by itself so when i save/dowload stuff to my desktop it will go to the right and wont have to move them myself

if anyone knows something i would love to hear it

Im not sure of any such option.. maybe someone else can give you a few tips? sorry.

i have my other two desktop screenshots on that so they probably getting sick of me posting them lol

i was reading on to see what they said about the program/app the guy said about and he said

All that seems to do is save icon positions and let me restore them. Is there anything that would make new icons appear on the right of the screen?

I got my icons on the left already its just that when i download the default side for them is the right not the left

You could always make a new folder on the desktop and call it downloads and have that as your default location, will stop them going on the left and it will keep your desktop cleaner.

That's what I do anyway for the same reason.

Nice find ENZO, although I would personally steer clear of 3rd party software.

Bad new mate

I've not been able to find anything in the registry or even in the group policy editor.

Would have been cool, i think 3rd party software might be the answer but just check the compatability.

Hello...
well... i use fence from stardock.
When you have the fence on the left part... all new icon created will be outside the fence... but still cannot default the icon to right... **i wish i can align right the icon.

anyway, maybe you can put good use of fence... i helps me organize my desktop
