Solved lock folder from other software access

im looking for software to lock a folder and prevent it from other softwares access.
for example lock a folder and just give permission to windows explorer for access it.

Don't think it has one.
A file or folder has restrictions depending on the USER, not on programs.

Depending on the software it may run as system the same as windows so it would have full control why do you think any software would want to access the folder?

Why do you even need such a thing? What's your concrete problem you're trying to solve?

As Megahertz07 pointed out, this is simply not possible, as permissions are granted based on the user account, not on which program you run. Windows, or any other OS I'm aware of, base their security on that same principle.

What are you trying to do? There might be other methods to what you want.
