lock the browser to prevent accidental closure during D/L?

Is there a way to lock the browser so that it cannot be closed by accident when downloading huge files? I use firefox.

If you have it set to warn you on closing multiple tabs, then open a tab or two that way if you accidentally hit close it will give you a warning. Other than that I don't know.
