Solved locking computer then reactivating it makes the desktop go crazy

every time i lock my desktop Windows Key + L and then leave it like that for like an hour or more and then i go reactivate my desktop with password it goes all crazy and starts to open folders many times and all i can do i restart cause i cant click on anything to stop it.

and skype wont install. just is a blank white screen that sits there. but when i hover the mouse over the window the mouse flickers. cant exit have to end process.

Hi, First of all I will suggest you to do scan of your system files and run antivirus and malware bytes.

Run SFC /SCANNOW.

From the link provided in your post, I got a link to one of SF's tutorial for repair install of Win 7. You can try that after the scans are done.

i have done a repair install just yesterday. i had to set compatibility to vista sp2 to make it work since the normal one didnt work cause the OS version i had was a newer one and i couldnt uninstall win 7 sp1. gotta restart first windows update.

and no matter what i do. its always unstable after i lock it and reactivate it.

To get your system stable will most likely require a fresh install of the OS. A "Repair" is intended to do exactly that "repair" the installed OS, not install a different version.

ok how can i store and restore the OS windows 7 and then do a fresh format delete and install on it? main problem - programs i have can they be backuped fully? or is it a safe option to just reinstall the whole thing?

clean reinstall. backup took too long so skipped it and just installed it again, cleanly
