If i leave my computer, for even a short time, when i come to use it i get a message "locking your computer".I have removed the password protection but i want to stop this happening as i am the only user and it's a pain having to wait for my screen to reappear.

Sorry but the only thing i am doing is leaving my computer for a few minutes. On return as soon as i use the mouse or keyboard the computer locks, the screen dissapears and i am left with an icon and the message "computer locked".I did have to enter a password but i have removed password protection and now i just left click on the icon.
However it can take up to one minute before the screen i was using reappears.I have been told that this is to stop anyone interfering with the computer and is part of the security system on windows seven.Ijust need to know how to remove it. thanks anyway. foxy

Thats because home premium doesnt have gp editor, you need to edit the registry which is explained in that same link.

Screen saver running? If so, turn off screen saver, and uncheck "On resume, display logon screen" in screen saver configuration.
