Lately, since about 3 or 4 days, I've noticed that when I boot into Win7 after the MS chimes in the main login screen when the Desktop appears a guitar twang (or chord) sounds. Has anyone noticed the same? I've never heard this sound happen before, and me thinks most likely it has to do with Win-X roll out in few days. Any thoughts?

Sounds like you changed the theme for your Desktop.

Right click on the Desktop and select Personalization. See what theme is being used, change it to whatever one you want.
