LOG ON fAILED

Hi, I have a "User Profile Service service failed the logon" message. and can't log on. I see that it is a problem in Vista (from the Vista forum) and wondering if I can correct it the same way in 7 Premium as in Vista or if anyone can lead me the right way? I am not computer savy so a step by step would really help.. Thanks and Cheers
