I am having problems with my internet connection dropping for approx 1 minute at a time at varying intervals. I contacted my ISP but he says there is no loss of connection. How can I log these events (with event viewer?) so that I can show the ISP there is a fault. I run Windows 7 Home Premium.

Thanks Jelyman. I looked at that thread but my problem is not the router. Whilst I do normally use a router I have, at seperate times, connected an XP laptop and later, a Windows 7 desktop, directly to the WAN and the problem is still the same.
I want to be able to go to the ISP with proof of the time and duration of these occurrences.
