Logging on

I have a HP TouchSmart computer, had it about 2/3 months, personalized it as I wanted it, all was fine,
now when I log on each morning it goes back to the original 'factory' settings, and says I am a 'logging in on temporary profile'

I then have to go back to the 11th Sept in System Restore and it then is back to what I did,

I am sure it has something to do with Windows Updates, but do not know what to do,

I am so desperate for help, and do not know where or what to do,

If this is not in the right place, can Admin please put it where it will get help.

Sounds like your user profile has been corrupted somehow and you need to creathe a new one via the control panel etc.

Thank you, will try later, but if I do that will everything I have on here still be there??

It should be in the start menu, but the desktop icons might not be etc.
