Login background issues

Hi all

I really hope someone can help me with this, i recently tried to change my login background, I edited the appropriate value in the registry to 1 and edited the pic i wanted to use, placed it in the Oobe/info/backgrounds folder but when i attempt to switch users or restart it remains the default Windows image ??? I even went as far as removing the default from the oobe folder entirely, still nothing ??


Can anyone help ?

Make sure that the size of your picture is the same size as your screen. My screen is 1920x1080 so I changed it to that size in paint and it worked perfect.

The site brink posted is one way to do it with OPTION ONE there, but you can just use the registry (like you did) Now using OPTION TWO there, just change the size of the picture to adapt to your screen size. Let me know.
