Solved Login screen don't appear, only black background and cursor

Having issues getting login screen to appear after windows starting.
After loading windows, it goes to a black screen with just the curser, moving the curser or pressing anything on the keyboard fades the screen a bit...
things i did:
safe mode: dose the same thing, cant get to login screen.
repair: did nothing..
waiting: nothing..

had movie on at night, woke up, computer turned off, booted up, this happened....

the windows cd loads up all good.
only option i c is formatting, but i cant loss what i have....

really need assistance

windows 7 home primium 64bit
laptop acer

Update: I did what I really didn't want to do and just installed windows with out formatting.
Made everything messy as fk but its all fixed...
