Solved Login screen password lost

Sent a machine to my brother in the UK and sent the passwords written down on a sheet of paper. I kept all of the Live and other passwords bar the welcome screen login one which I thought I had but...

Now is there anyway of retrieving it?

I've lost the password to my Windows Administrator account, how do I get it back?

And here are some other alternatives ... but I don't think you'll need them.

Thanks mate I'll have a look at those - but in the meantime he has sent me a mail overnight (just fell out of bed ) that he found the list of logins and passwords I sent. The thought of having to do a reinstall long distance was not a pleasant prospect as you can imagine because that OEM the machine originally came with did not have SP1!!

But I do get this problem with some fixes and your info will be very handy again thanks so much
