I am using Windows 7 x64 build 7000. I have my Logitech Pro 9000 working fine apart from all the Quickcam controls Rightlight and zoom features disappear basically all the advanced controls for the webcam. How do I fix it?

Me too. I guess we wait for Logitech to upgrade the software, probably when Windows 7 is released or some upgrade to the W7 beta.

How we fix it

This is the only problem I am having wih windows 7. Otherwise its great. I wonder if it is a driver problem or windows 7 operating system issue?

This is a software problem. Driver problems are what we used tp have with Vistax64. That is where you hardware isn't even recognized. At least we can use our hardware with Windows 7, albeit with reduced functionality. I'm sure with enough complaints/feedback this problem will be fixed. My HP color laserprinter software is doing the same thing, I can at least use the printer (driver OK), but the software won't install.....yet.

I had the same problem with my Quickcam Orbit AF using the QuickCam 1.8 software included on the installation cd. I installed version 11.9.0.1263 and now everything works in Win7 64 bit.

quickcam_11.9.0.1263_x64 not supporting windows 7

Hi..... Im having the same problem...Im using windows 7 RC1 Build 7100 x64.

and i tried installing "quickcam_11.9.0.1263_x64".and my OS explore.exe getting corrupt each time i try to install.and cant repair or restore.have to reinstall my OS again.but my OS installs my driver automatically.but need the software for advance features.

I tried QuickCam 11.80 before and there was another issue.so i think the issue is the QuickCam Software.so better to wait for another version.so if anyone found a solution please tell.

Thanks

I'm using windows 7 RC1 x64 Build 7100, and got my logitech pro 9000 cam working fine with the newest driver from logitech (version 1.00 with VID).
When I connected the cam windows tried downloading some driver from windows update, but I doubted that was the right one, so I stopped the download and used the one from logitech.

Will keep you posted if I run into any problems.

I just bought a Quickcam Pro 9000 (I like my toys) and downloaded the latest 64 bit vista software from Logitech's website. I installed it in 7264 (x64) as administrator and all the webcam features are running with no problems.
