I want to start by saying that I love Windows 7. The only driver issue I have is with this Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 which I just purchased. I am on a 32-bit system and based on some of the things I've heard on here, they have had no trouble. Here are the issues that I've been having.

1) I try to install the Quickcam software and it does so successfully (also in compatibility mode), but once I try to use the software, it freezes up.

2) The camera always works but because I cannot use the software, I have not been able to record a video. I bought the camera so I could use Google Talk with my family and that's all I really care about.

3) The microphone does not work at all. Tested it in Sound Recorder.

Where I am now: I got Windows 7 to install the drivers but not to install the software. So in Device Manager it shows that everything is working properly. The main thing I want to work is the microphone so I have functionality with Google Talk.

Thanks in advance!
Ryan

I have the same problem. Little help from Logitech. When I x out of the freeze up and can run the software and see video and take pictures. Freezes up if i record or use the toolbox to look at the microphone. There must be a microphone conflict but I can't fink it>
