I recently purchased a Logitech webcam C500 ($35), however Best Buy has the Quickcam Pro 9000 on sale for $70.

The C500 works quite well with Win7 x64, so I'm just wondering if the Quickcam Pro 9000 works with the 64-bit version?

And is it really worth an extra $35 for it?

I owned this camera and gave it to my neighbor when I set up her new laptop running Windows 7. Her daughter relocated across country with her two young sons after divorcing and it broke my neighbors heart to not see her grandchildren so I gave her the 9000 for use in Skype. I miss that camera a lot, my new laptop came with a built in and my desktop has the Microsoft Lifecam, neither up to the 9000 in my opinion.

Thanks a lot guys.

As luck would have it, I went and they were sold out.

I'll definitely look into getting one in the future though. The C500 actually has pretty good quality.
