Solved Logitech Z623 - Problems with volume & sub-woofer

Hi Folks,

I've installed the new computer and added some new speakers, i.e. Logitec Z623.

These speakers have been installed less than two weeks and I've noticed that the volume is less and there is very little vibration or bass coming from the sub-woofer.

Take them back? Any other suggestions for speakers (under $200.00)

Hello Layback Bear,

Fantastic picture of the polar bear sleeping on the rock. Thanks for the recommendation but I can't find KLipsch-THX at Future Shop or Best Buy in Ontario. May be they were sold out during Black Friday.

Have you messed with or accidentally hit any of the integrated controls on the right satellite speaker?

Not only do you have volume and sound control with the keyboard but it's built into the right speaker of that sound system. Max out the volume with that and turn the bass up about a 1/4 and then use keyboard or volume icon to raise and lower volume or sound system.

I use the KLipsch-THX. If I turn up the bass 1/4 my windows in the room shake. Found them here also.

There's not much to mess with on the right speaker, i.e. on/off, volume and bass.

I have the volume on the computer set to 100%. I'm glad you mentioned about my keyboard because I didn't realise there was a spot there to turn up the volume. There is also a Realtek HD Audio Manager for set-up.
