Solved Logon Error

I've been experiencing this issue for several months now and I've only my Lenovo B560 laptop for about 4 months. Frequently, the screen freezes at the blue welcome screen and never makes it to the login menu where you choose user/type in password. No error message pops up, it just freezes. I have to hold down the power button to shut it down and if I try to restart the laptop normally, it usually freezes again the same way so then I go into safe mode to properly shutdown the laptop. Sometimes this resolves the issue and I can successfully login the normal way and sometimes it still doesn't do the trick. I tried unchecking a lot of startup items in system config but that didn't seem to do much and I'm hesitating to use the one-touch system restore feature because I'd have to reinstall a whole bunch of programs.

After sending it to Windows, there was no solution.
Any suggestions on how I might resolve this issue?

i followed your instructions to enable the minidumps but when i opened the folder, there was nothing in there to copy...

SOLUTION: If you have a Lenovo, delete VeriFace!!! stupid program that created that problem. After deleting it, problem solved! not a windows error..I probably do have errors but that's not what was preventing the login screen from freezing.
