Solved Logon missing for Admin

W-7 with SP1.
Have 2 User accounts; one as "pat Admin", the other as "alex Admin, Password protected."
Whether booting, Restart, Switch User, Log off the "alex Administrator, Password Protected" does not appear anywhere except in "User Accounts, Manage another account" from the CP.
It boots directly to "pat", Switch User" just opens back to "pat", same with Log off.

PC had been infected with mucho Adware and was cleaned with this problem resulting.

System Restore had no affect, it rebooted to "pat" with no User option.
Safe Mode has no affect.

"alex" in "Manage Accounts", "Make changes to alex's account", has the 7 options available.

"netplwiz", "Users" has "alez" and "pat". "pat" is accessable to add a password, "alex" is not clickable.

I can access all of Alex core folders in "C:, Users, alex"

In netplwiz / Users, is Alex still an admin? If not, can you click on Alex or click Properties and go to Group Membership and make him so? Then reboot.

Otherwise, I would assume corruption of the account, and would rescue data, delete the account and make a new one.

The second one worked and OK now. Thanks for the help.
Rather unusual to go 4 days without a post in the Forums.
Maybe I could have worded it better or the problem is that rare.
