I like to create small websites, just doing fun stuff with HTML and such.
I thought it'd be easier to share the htdocs folder(I'm using XAMPP - that's where are all HTML etc files are) and edit those files / create new files from any comp in my network.

So...
I wanted to run a script (net use blabla..) everytime I log in on this computer(Windows 7 Home Premium x64) but it doesn't have Local Group Policies
So how can I do this?

Come to think of it, I heard you can put a .bat file in autoexec or something.
Not sure how to do that though.
Can someone help me?

You can drop the batch/vbs file into the startup folder instead:

  • C:\Users\<your user account>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\
or.....

  • Start > All Programs > Right click on "Startup" folder > Open
Hope this helps.

.
Have a look at the last post by Mike L who solved that problem, link to post here

Also another way of doing it.

Open Computer Management by right clicking my computer and selecting manage.

navigate to Users under Local users and groups

Right-click the user account that you want, and then clicking Properties.

In the Profile tab, there is a Logon script field, type the path to the script you would like to run.
