Long boot after battery removal - How to change Power Plans to "NO bat

Until recently I had in my notebook a battery.
I removed it due to defects and don't want to buy a new one.

Unfortunately the boot process slows down dramatically.
It now takes approx. 5-10 minutes until Windows 7 shows the Login screen.

I guess its because the hardware related detection parts search for the non-existing battery.

How do I tell Windows 7 "There is no battery any more"?

I guess it has something to do with Power Plan settings.

Don't see any relation on slow boot and no battery, must be something else.
- Did it shut-ed down while running?
- Schedule a check disk. On a CMD window type chkdsk c: /f
- Do a system file check. On a CMD window type sfc /scannow
- Check your power plan on the advanced options.
