It's very sad Shawn.
I call the new mas of people who use computer devices the Poke and Hope computer users. Poke a little colored square and hope. If it works you are a computer literate person. If it doesn't work you throw the device away and get another one and blame it on Microsoft updates.

Holding the handset to my ear I say: ‘Yes, give me the office of the President of the United States…. NO, I WILL NOT HOLD. This is an emergency…. Hello, Mister President, I’m afraid I have some bad news. I’ve just been informed that The Internet is not working.’
