Solved longer render time then before

on my old graphics card radeon 3400 i could import avi files from games i have just recorded and load them into power director and they played fine. but ever since i put my new card in it takes ages to render? i thought it would be the other way round right? i haven't changed anything els :'/

Have you installed the latest Graphics Card Driver for your new CARD?. Did you remove the old driver aswel?.

Have your render settings changed?.

Hm, perhaps the CPU and GPU combo used is not enhancing rendering.

If you have not uninstalled the older drivers for the 3400 series card you might be having a conflict., And since your original card is integrated, did you disable it in the bios? Also, as easy as a manufacture may tout that you can successfully uninstall all of their drivers. there are always bits left over. I recommend to use Driver Sweeper, it will grab all of the leftover bits after you have uninstalled the traditional way.
