Looking for a specific thing to put in my drive bay.

Hey everyone,

I am looking for a system temperature monitor to put in my drive bay. (I do have 2 empty drive bays so it can take up both) The problem is that the only things I can find with temp monitors also have fan controllers, And I do not want anything like that. Just a temp monitor would be fine, and maybe a usb 3.0 port and a sd card slot would be awesome if possible. If it displayed cpu and ram usage even better!

The perfect thing I am looking for is just a temp monitor in the drive bay.

Unfortunately I cannot find anything like this.

There are a slew of software applications that will tell you internal system temps without having to add any hardware.

Thanks I know that. I just would like a hardware solution. Easier to look over quick in a full screen app and see how it is running. I have also edited the above as well.

What about that:

XSPC 5.25" Bay Temperature Sensor Dual Display Mount (BAYSENS) Note: Temperature Sensors Sold Separately.

I own one of the XSPC LCD Temperature Sensor - White Backlight , but is the V2 black sleeved and is quite bright light but you can have others colors. Looks at frozencpu USA they do not have V2 series.

I just find those a little fragile at the 5volt cable near the LCD...not to be too often twisted and manipulated.
Place it in the bay area and don't touch it anymore...The XSPC LCD Temperature Sensor (Blue) V2 series also have the removable 2pin sensor on the LCD back so you can easily change the sensor if it breaks.

Or

This one more straight looking: Phobya Dual Bezel Guage Mount - Black Powder Coat (70149) and with: Phobya Illuminated Thermometer with Digital Display - Red Blacklight (71014)

The Front Base, you'll need a motherboard that have the port ROG_EXT...aka:
