Looking for a Text Capture software

Hello

I'm looking for a good / fast text capture software that could be driven via hot key. The software would need to have the possibility to select a predefined region. Captured text to be kept in the clipboard

Anyone is using this type of software?

I did look on Google and try few of them, but none as worked like I wanted and some of them did come with an extra virus with them.

Multicharts, A market charting software. I want to grab quotes of a bar. Result in the clipboard will be transfer to Excel for processing

OCR software was able to capture the text, but I need to select a region manually.

I had done that before, but the software that I use has been cancelled, not supported anymore
