Looking for apps for Win 7 similar to News and Sports app in Win 8

Hey all, so I had a chance to play with Windows 8 today for a few hours at my fathers place.
To say the least I instantly fell in love with the News and the Sports app. While I do plan to upgrade to windows 8 eventually, it wont happen anytime soon and im looking for similar apps as those News and Sports apps for Windows 7.

Does anyone have any experience with such apps or suggestions?
