Looking for floppy disk backup software.

Does anyone know of any good backup software that can boot of a floppy?

Can you provide more details - do you really mean a "floppy"?
Using a CD or DVD then you can do a backup image using the Macrium Reflect pe recovery disk to recover and make images. For free Macrium Reflect you will need to do a 1.7GB download of the Windows WAIK tools. Macrium will hold your hand in doing this.
or else you can try Hirens Boot CD.

...and also what do you mean exactly by 'backup'.

are you wanting to backup your documents, or image/ghost your operating system? they aren't the same thing.

Last time i used a floppy to boot off backup a disk was Norton Ghost 2003..do the math.

The link before includes something called "g4u" -- which CAN be run from Floppy Disks. There may be others there as well, but that's all I had the time to read:
