I'm looking for something to view 'scrolling screen shots' like I could in XP with the default viewer. It was so simple & uncomplicated. Now everything has a gazillion buttons, etc.

While I had XP & was posting at another forum I could for example, get a 'scrolling shot' of the entire Event Viewer with FastStoneCapture, view it in the Pic Viewer & post it as a scrolling window.

Boy, I hope this makes sense to anyone reading it.

Thanks,
grits

I use Xnview as default image viewer! It could display long image very well! With zooming, 1:1 view etc. Maybe it could fulfil what u want from image viewer! :)

I had a feeling that I didn't explain my post quite right so hope to clarify here. I do have FastStoneCapture & love it, but my problem is in viewing & posting a long scroll, just as we have to scroll this thread to see all the posts. When I had XP & used the default (seems like it was 'Picture & Fax Viewer'), I could post a scrolling window that was scrollable to view. (does that make sense?) Will post a shot of my Event Viewer that I took with FSC so you can see what I mean?
