I have a program that when it starts it places itself on the TaskBar as well as in the System tray. I would like it to only be in the tray. I want to have this program start with windows so I'm looking for some program or method to remove it from the Taskbar but still keep it in the tray and of course still active. Perhaps there is a way to hide it on the TaskBar?
Any thoughts? The offending program is used by the hardware called CorsairLink Commander which controls fan speeds and my H100 CPU cooler. I'm using a new version of it, V2.

Didn't work. Keep in mind that my program is on the TasKBar as well as in the tray. My guess it's a bug. Anyway.... if there is a way to just hide the program on the taskbar while leaving it in the tray that would probably be the way to go. Is there a program out there that will let me hide a program that's on the TaskBar?
btw... I tried a couple of programs that let you send the program to the tray through the programs control menu. These do get it off the TaskBar but it also creates another icon in the tray which doesn't work.

Just right click on any icon you want to remove from the Taskbar and choose unpin this program from Taskbar.
