Looking for suggestions on mid-priced 23" or more DisplayPort Monitor

HI;

I have 2 monitors on my Dell Studio XPS with a Radion 5700 series card. I'm doing more video editing now and I would like to add a 3rd monitor.

I'm finding out there are not that many Display Port monitors to choose from.

I know that the Apple monitors are DisplayPort and they are nice screens, but they are very $$$.

Can you suggest anything under $500 with a DisplayPort in the 23" to 27" size range?

Thanks Much

Jamie

These all have Display Port.

I have the ASUS VE258Q 25" which is out of stock but is available at Amazon.

Very nice monitor.

Jim

Thank You.

I see there is a 27" version as well that gets pretty good reviews.

I see people talk about the maximum resolution of these monitors being 1920 X 1080. The only real point of reference I have working on a larger screen is on my dad's 27" IMac, but the IMac monitor supports a higher resolution.

Right now my largest monitor is a 19" and it maxes out at 1440 x 900.

I might have to run to a local store and take a look at some screens just to get a better feel for what the larger screens look like at 1920 X 1080.

Does the lack of a higher resolution setting bother you at all on the 25"?

Thanks
Jamie

I have a Dell Ultrasharp IPS panel U2311H now replaced by the U2312H (LED backlit).
This 23" monitor is great value for an IPS monitor ~ $250 I think. The quality is excellent. I find it difficult to look at my Samsung P2350 now.
