Logitech g700 as well.
g700 charges and becomes a wired mouse when connected to the pc. Performance mx just charges through the USB.
I've owned both, mx has a really nice shape and feel and the g700 has a lot of buttons.
both retail for $100

Why would you want a mouse like that when many use 1-AA battery that lasts 12 months?

He/she could be a hardcore gamer.... and 1xAA battery wouldn't last more than 6 hours with continuous clicking frenzies and a corded mouse just hinders personal performance while playing First Person Shooters such as battlefield, thus a wireless mouse with the ability to charge on the go is a perfect solution
though i have to point out my MX revolution (old i know) can last a full 2 days solid gaming (about 20 hours) before the red warning light comes on
