looking to disable cpu fan but mobo keeps giving me warnings

I have a HTPC which includes an ASUS mobo/cpu combo (fanless, smart BIOS, etc). The case is mini ITX with a single case fan. As it is this machine runs really cool since I have no moving parts other than the storage HDD (OS is on SDD).
What I ended up doing was move the case fan power plug to the "Chassis1" fan header on the mobo because the BIOS offers more tunability controls for chassis fans than it does the "CPU" fan header.
Problem is now, I get popup alerts in my sys tray from the BIOS manager that CPU FAN IS DISABLED or NOT OPERATING.

Is there a way I can jumper this power header out with a resistor or something to fake the mobo into thinking it's driving a fan?

What value resistor should I use? or is this not recommended?
Eventually I'd like to disable all the fans because I dont think this HTPC runs very warm at all.

As I stated in my first post, the cpu doesn't have a fan:

These motherboards in the proper case are intended to run completely fanless. As in NO NOISE. I have the case fan running but it's plugged into the CHASSIS_1 header, which leaves nothing on the CPU_FAN header. I want to jumper this header out so I don't get the bios warning.

A resistor won't do the job for you, the fan controller is expecting a pulse train, not a steady DC voltage.

I'm not familiar with your particular motherboard, but I have seen other boards that had an option in the BIOS to disable CPU fan warnings.

Can't think of any viable ways to "fool" the BIOS into thinking that there is a fan attached.

I'm not familar with your mobo at all. But if it was intended to be run with a fanless CPU cooler, they must have offered a solution to stop the pop-ups, probably found in bios. Failing that, connect the case fan to the CPU fan header and you shouldn't get the warning.

You could use an adjustable speed case fan and plug that into the CPU header. You could switch it to stay on the lowest speed. There are also temperature controlled variable speed case fans too.

Use the proper fan headers, and run something like Speedfan to control your other fans, if that's what you are after.
