Lose Background Slideshow After Remote Session?

After I perform a remote session I lose my background slide show. Only the background that was active when I connected is selected as being part of the slide show. Is this normal behavior? Kind of a pain in the butt to have to reselect everything after each session. I do have the multi-session patch installed, could this be the cause?

-Thanks

Your patch is not the cause; I have the same problem.

I am tempted to believe that is normal.

I do believe that this is a bug in Windows 7. The slideshow gets disabled when the connection is made, likely to prevent excessive bandwidth usage should the desktop change during the session. However, the shell should be restoring the slide show settings once the remote session ends and it clearly is not. I experience the same issue on a non-modified install. For now, the workaround is to change the setting in: Options > Experience, and deselect Desktop Background.
