Sometime in the past couple months or so we lost both our cd/dvd's on one PC. There are little 'error' icons in both 'devices and printers' and 'device manager' menus. I have run sfc/scannow on the subject PC and received error messages-"some corrupted files can not be fixed"...but I can not figure out where to go from here.
The CBS log is attached showing the errors...but I don't know what I'm looking for or what to do next?
Neither device can be accessed at boot as the boot device...and nothing can be accessed on either cd/dvd player from within Windows either ?
thanks...TiminAz
