lost drivers

I've got HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\currentcontrolset\control\class\ then search for "countryregion" but it isn't there, I'm trying to find out where they have gone, WIN 7, I used to have a lot of people log on my internet access (down in the right hand side of toolbars.
The funny thing is This time when I reinstalled Win 7 there were only my login & and nobody else. Perhaps I've got the wrong drivers on some. Can you help?

Which have you got then? I don't know what to look for. I'm trying to find out why I only have my logon details when I used to have all the people around me. It happened when I had to reinstall Win 7. I used the same disc (registered ) for ten years.

if your talking about "left clicking" on your Wifi strength icon, then their are no associated drivers
all it does is scan for nearby connections...

This is what I wanted, when you click on the icon, a window opens, and you can see my VM & Password, which is fine, but I used to have about 10+ more people had logged on, but I don't see it since I reinstalled win 7, there's just me.

hi Ron,

please open Network & Sharing >> change Advance settings (top left)
will default to current profile (home or work i hope)
and enable the 3 sharing options

public network defaults are OFF, hope your not using this profile....

you could also run
sfc /scannow

I've had a look and tried 1 &2 things, but to no avail. I went to regedit and I did find "homegrouplistener" but regedit isn't for me. I wonder if something got turned off during Setup instead. in which case what have I done? some thing that called the 10+ or so?
During setup near to the end before it is finished I think it asks "do you want to register now" (some thing that) Now if I had said no, that might be something. I just do not know.
(REG-SZ) Means nothing to me.
