hello folks, I'm pretty new at this game so please try not to blind me with science. I chose to replace my xp pro o/s with win 7 over last weekend on my main desktop PC and passed smoothly through the clean install process of win 7 ultimate. To my horror when the shiny new desktop was up and running I found that I could not connrct to my router, my ethernet adapter driver having apparently disappeared. I previously used Sis 900 but cannot find any driver for it. Are drivers available for this adapter or should I give up and buy a new card.

Any help much appreciated.

Network cards are fairly cheap these days, so I would suggest replacing it with a Gigabit capable card.
Do a bit of research on the card you want to buy and see if it is Windows 7 compatible out of the box (can save you a lot of hassles later)
