Hi
Hoping someone can assit I have Windows 7 home preium installed and after the latest update I have lost my keyboard. I have tried a usb wired and wireless keyborad and both have the same issue. The delete and backspace keys function (so I can get into bios) but I have tried reinstalling windows 7 64 bit and same issue. The Windows help desk now say its the mobo. But as it was working fine before and its a brand new Asus Rampage 3 Extreme I don't think this is the issue. The bios is AM 2.06 (from memory) and it seems strange that an update occurred and the keyboard stops working but not completely ie some keys work just not the numbers or letters. Before I dismantle and get a replacement mobo anyone have a similar experiance or can assist with a cure?
System details intel i950, 6 gb Corsair 1600 ram, Saphire 5800 graphics, 1500 w power, Coolermaster V8 cpu cooler and and the Asus mobo.
