Please Help: I've lost my personal type info, and now all that's available is "Public."
So, for example, the stuff that used to be in "Libraries" is now missing.
So to is the personal stuff in the "Users" folder. Now, all there is is "Public"
All the icons on my desktop have also disappeared.

What was the last thing you did before you noticed this change?
I right clicked in my "User File" because I wanted to show the hidden files, so I clicked hidden...
I think instead it hid files. Now I cannot seem get them back!

Actually, I fixed it. I went and found "show hidden icons" in the control panel, and now I'm currently reversing everything.
