Hey~!

I bought Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007 a couple of years ago cheaply for when I started University from Software4Students. Anyway! Today I had to reinstall Windows thinking I had the disk close at hand turns out this was just Communicator and the Office Disk is no where to be found.

I know you can order replacement from Microsoft but this only seems to be in the US. Anything I can do or will it just be forking out for Office 2010 or switching to Open Office?

I was thinking I could possibly Torrent 2007 because I still have the product key written down next to me as surely you're only really paying for the license? Although not sure it works like that? :o

In principle you're correct. However, for your product key to be valid when installing, wherever you manage to get a replacement copy from, it will have to be exactly the same edition/version of Office as the one you lost, as I believe different editions are issued with different batches of keys.
