Lost pictures on DVD!

I saved a bunch of pictures on a DVD and now I get only this message:

[.ShellClassInfo]
LocalizedResourceName=@%SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll,-21815

and all the folders are gone. Is there a way to retrieve them? Thanks.
