Double check to see if you may still have the "C:\Users\(user-name)" folder for your account available. If so, then you could retrieve any needed files from it.
If it's not there, then do you have a backup of it, or any system image backups?

Most likely not. Time to buy the kid his own computer. Tablets running windows 8.1 can be had for around a hundred bucks. Acer or Toshiba have one for $120.
