Solved Lots of strange irritating little problems @ Icons-Permissions-Files

Hello All
I am new here and I am sorry to start off with a problem. Also, I hope this is the correct forum.

Missing Icons, changing Icons and I can't fix by making a new shortcut and moving it to the proper folder, it becomes a useless empty square.
About 50% of the time I can't delete or move a file. Not even shift-delete works.
Even though I am the only "user" on my PC it tells me I do not have permissions to perform the above.
It all started at the same time and I am going crazy trying to get a handle on it.

Anyone, anyone at all got any ideas?

I hope the system info I added on registration is easily available but I don't see a button for it. Oh, now I do.

First check for infection with a full scan of updated Malwarebytes,
from Safe Mode if necessary.

Next run SFC -SCANNOW Command

If necessary work through these additional troubleshooting steps to try to determine the problem.

Malwarebytes (and 3 others) has been run with no results. Ran SFC and no problems found. On to something else.........but what?

Did a instal repair and it cleared up everything but my "permissions" problem. One at a time is painfully slow, but it works.
