Solved Lowering Multiplier and increasing FSB rate on ASUS motherboard

Hello, SF members, again

I have some questions (two for now).

I'm a little crazy member of this forum. I got crazy disease for Hardware , software and OC, risky ways as I said earlier.
Why this ? I don't know !

Here small informations about my build :
- Motherboard : ASUS P8H61-M LX2
- BIOS : ASUS EFI BIOS Utility Tool
- CPU : Intel Pentium G620 @ 2.60GHz
- Sandybridge
- Locked multiplier and sandybridge don't like to increasing FSB rate so I can't achive good OCs , while I don't buy i7 (That will be soon).
- Memory : 4GB DDR3 1066 MHz

Maybe, I alredy asked this but don't got answers.
Questions :
1. How to lower multiplier on ASUS EFI BIOS Utility ?
2. How to increasing FSB on ASUS EFI BIOS Utility ?

Someone said Advanced mode is like classic one BIOS , but I don't know to use it (EFI BIOS).

I will attach images , so you can find way and see.

2. Had a look at the manual for that board and the option/setting isn't there.

Looks like Asus left out pretty much any and all overclocking options on that board. Most board manufacturer's tend to do that sort of thing on their budget boards. I get the feeling that if even it will allow it, is to use the Asus AI Suite to overclock.

P.S. Much easier way to take screen shots with the EFI bios'. Just have a USB key handy and hit F12 to take a screen shot and save it to the USB key, then copy them over when back in Windows.

I know for CPU ratio. But how to open that menu ?
I find that option in CPU Settings , and when I type enter or anyother key nothing happened. Like locked function. I dont know why.

So I asked how to Overclock on with the EFI BIOS.

If anyone know, please help me with this.

Edit : Because this, I wanted to Update (flash) my BIOS, if you saw this in one solved theard, but other members said to do it when I have problem with my computer ! I dont know how to do it on that BIOS and motherboard.

Even if you can lower the CPU ratio it won't do you any good as there is no option for raising the FSB (likely for a very good reason), as that board was not designed with overclocking in mind.

If you really want to try overclocking the only real option is to get a motherboard that supports it.

I found in BIOS option for increasing min. multiplier. That is CPU Ratio (auto). I can increase this with + command on my keyboard.

I will try on ASUS forums too. Maybe someone have it , and tried to Overclock on this motherboard.

CPU ratio is Auto (now). I can set if from 16-26. I don't understood it well.

I want to lower multiplier. For ex. from 16 to 25 or 24. With lower multiplier, I can increase FSB rate , if I can do it from my BIOS (maybe there is someway).

With all this , is that mean :
I have CPU (not a K version), and I can't lower or increase multiplier. I read that , I can't increase it , but I can't lower it , and I can do OC with FSB.

I can set if from 16-26

Which means if you set it lower than the default 26, then the CPU will run at a lower frequency than it is rated for.

With lower multiplier, I can increase FSB rate , if I can do it from my BIOS (maybe there is someway).

That is the thing, from looking at the manual for your motherboard there are ZERO options in the bios for raising the FSB. Without that lowering the multi is a waste of time.

As I already explained you are not going to be overclocking with that motherboard as the bios is missing any and all options required to do so.

I know that I need better computer for OC...... When I bought my current build, I didn't want to OC it. Now , It's Upgrade Time !

As I said, I will try to find one way , before I bought new motherboard.
