This is happening now when I try turning my pc on, I've got 4 hard drives in it, the motherboard flashes lights and the rear fan starts for a second, the hard drives buz then nothing, it repeats after a few seconds. Normally the hard drives buz once when starting then the pc starts. It's like it wants to start but something is stopping it. It must be something to do with on of them.

What can I do about this? Thanks.

Kind member bumping a thread after just a hour is not cool.

Please read our forum rules here.

Pay attention to rule #2

2) No useless posts, e.g., thread bumping, useless one liners, junk posting to increase post count, and identical multi-postings in different forums.

------------------

You could try unplugging all drives except the one the operating system is on. (C). Boot again and see if you have the same problem. If you don't then Shut down again and plug 1 more drive and boot. Do that and see if you can find a hard drive causing the problem.

Do keep in mind that their are many things that can cause your problem.

Completing this tutorial by Golden might give some helpful information. Do it with all your drives plugged in.

Sorry about that.

You could try unplugging all drives except the one the operating system is on. (C). Boot again and see if you have the same problem. If you don't then Shut down again and plug 1 more drive and boot.

Tried that, I tried plugging just primary hard drive with the OS on it, didn't work, it just buzzes then doesn't boot or anything. I even tried just one hard drive that has no OS and it didn't even do anything but buzz once. I've tried reseating all the cables but I get the same thing.
