Solved Macrium Reflect Pay Edition

I have used the free edition for a year or so and it works great. I got an email this morning about Macrium wanting to sell me the pay edition. It has incrimental backups and a few other things. I just wondered if any of you used the pay edition and could cite some reasons as to why you like it better than the free edition. Thanks,

As far as I know, all you get is extra features----if you need 'em, go for it.

Otherwise, no. I have looked over the feature list and don't see anything there I need.

I use the paid edition. You get the extra features Incremental & differential backups and File and Folder backups plus you get the WinPE recovery disk without downloading the WAIK. You also get support and posting rights in their forums. I have used the support once and it was good and quick.

The paid for version does provide a few extra bells and whistles, but they may not be important to you.

I purchased Acronis True Image Home 2010 a few years ago now and for $23.99 it gave me incrementals, as well as the file and folder backup feature. In addition, it had the Try & Decide functionality which I used quite a bit at first, but now don't use as much...as I simply try everything in a VM.

If you are interested in file and folder backups and being able to do incrementals, it could very well be worth it.

Out of curiosity, what is the price for the paid version?
