lm trying to find out where the installation directory is for the standalone macromedia flash player. l had one with Flash MX which is pretty dated now so any newer flash that opens through it sometimes doesnt load at all which is getting pretty annoying especially seeing as one or two files dont even load through my browser (despite no one else having a problem with them).
l have downloaded a higher version player but for some reason l cant seem to find it at all to change the association.
edit:
turns out macromedia dont bundle stand alone flash players on their own, you have to use their flash designer suites now so l had to extract the latest flash player out of Flash Professional CC which allowed me to update from the crappy version 7 l had on system, which thankfully resolved my issue.
