I'm up to hour 4 with trying to get this effing thing to work...

My MSI GT680 uses the Motorola Bluetooth stack (I guess that's what it is). I was successfully able to pair my Magic Trackpad, but only left clicking works (as expected). After installing Apple's Magic Trackpad drivers for Windows x64, it still didn't work, because the trackpad was still being considered a "Bluetooth HID Device" under Device Manager. After right-clicking on Bluetooth HID Device (the Magic Trackpad), and manually trying to "update" the driver to "Apple Inc. Apple Wireless Trackpad (04/12/2010 3.1.0.5)", the Device Manager driver updater window will just sit there (as seen below). Nothing is being done.

I'm also not able to restart my computer, so I have to do a hard shutdown, and go into safe mode (all of my USB ports, for whatever reason, are disabled after rebooting normally). I can then uninstall the Motorola Bluetooth software (the uninstaller when booting normally will get stuck), and reboot back into Windows normally.

I've gone through this process 3 damn times so far. The furthest I can get is simply using the Magic Trackpad as a left-click only device.

I do have a new idea: Completely uninstall all Apple Inc. mouse/trackpad drivers, and then trying the process again. Hopefully, this will work. If not, onto eBay it goes.

UPDATE: As soon as I was going to submit this post/thread, Device Manager told me this:

Device Manager now lists "Apple Wireless Trackpad" under "Human Interface Devices", but I can't connect to the trackpad at all.

I'll eff around with it a little more before giving up.

Some updates...

I'm using the generic Bluetooth stuff. I was able to add my Magic Trackpad to Devices and Printers, and it also sets up the trackpad using the installed Apple Wireless Trackpad drivers, but there's a huge problem: Nothing works! The cursor doesn't move, clicks aren't moving, etc.

FINAL-EFFING-LY!

I've always been trying to pair it WITHOUT using the 0000 code. So, after pairing it with the 0000 passcode, it worked instantly (with 2-finger scrolling, etc).
